McKenna Labs

Based in Southern California, McKenna Labs formulates and manufactures cosmetics for some the country's top brands. Moving to a new building was an opportunity to build a strong brand to stand out as a trustworthy and authoritative voice in the industry.

Wanting a symbol, I focused on using the M as a base to create a mark that evokes precision with a solid presence. The addition of the liquid drop also alluded to processes that take place within the lab that involve using a pipette.
